Your Favorite Biz's Favorite Biz + Springfield's Funniest Social Media Strategy
Since 2013, Culture Flock has been creating apparel, accessories, and home goods that celebrate queerness, community, mental health, and the joy of being fully yourself. Their storefront is bright, welcoming, and full of energy, and over the past year our goal has been to make sure that same feeling translates across every digital touchpoint. What began as a social media audit grew into a full creative partnership spanning strategy, photography, web, wholesale, and product ideation — a natural extension of our shared values and mutual trust.
Digital Strategy That Connects With Real Folks
We began with a comprehensive social audit to understand how the brand was performing, where it could grow, and how it compared with both competitors and aspirational peers. From there, we established content pillars and a clear tone of voice designed to cultivate a deeply engaged audience rather than a passive following. It was crucial that their social accounts feel joyful and safe and fun, less focus on the negative and more on the collective hope we all love from their brand! Over the next several months, we explored different posting styles and formats. The strongest response came when we centered the real people behind the brand — Brittany and Summer’s everyday humor, process, interactions and personality. This shift brought an immediate spike in engagement, and by month three one of our videos went viral, opening the door to thousands of new followers and long-term upward momentum.

Showcasing a Bright & Bold Brand with Energetic Photography
With new photography: team portraits that highlight personality and approachability, in-store imagery that captures the vibrancy of their physical space, and a full shoot for their Spring 2025 collection featuring friends and Springfield, MO community members as models. The resulting images brought joy, energy, and a celebration of queerness to the forefront. We also created e-commerce photography to bring consistency to their catalog and ensure a cohesive visual experience across platforms. Later, we partnered on product ideation and photography for their Holiday 2025 collection–Sleigh Drag Santa Sweatshirt, anyone?
A Colorful Take on E-Commerce Web Design (That Actually Converts!)
With refreshed visuals in place and an improved website, we brought the same clarity and vibrancy to their Faire wholesale site. These updates give retailers a more accurate and active profile to purchase from, as well as efficiency for the Culture Flock team's upkeep. All of this work was built alongside ongoing social strategy and day-to-day management, allowing us to refine content in real time as Culture Flock continued to grow.
As the brand’s visibility expanded, it became clear that their digital presence needed to catch up with the reality of their in-person experience. They had moved store locations, built new collections, changed their team, got new haircuts, and evolved as humans, but the website and wholesale storefront still reflected an older version of the business. We set out to build a new website that captured their current world — bright, bold, expressive, and unmistakably Culture Flock.

🥂 Cheers to More To Come!
Our partnership with Culture Flock is one we’re deeply proud of. They stand firmly and openly in their values, and people resonate with that. Our work has simply been to help reflect that truth back to their audience, in every format and across every channel. We look forward to continuing that work — representing them well, digitally and beyond.

Client Feedback
We've been working with Kidsister for nearly a year and in that time they have helped us in so many facets of our business. Things that used to dread doing (like social media) have now become fun again, plus we're seeing an influx of new followers and online sales. We cannot thank them enough for their expertise. They're truly a joy to work with!
